Mike Wagner:  Founder/Creator
Mike Wagner is the founder and creator of POWER Camp in Plainfield, Illinois.  He created POWER Camp after becoming disillusioned with the programs (and cost of such) being offered for younger athletes.

He has begun to train and compete in the sport of Strongman, winning a meet in July, and hopes to qualify for Nationals in 2015.  He also has training for 30 years as a competitive power lifter, and has 20 years of experience in personal fitness training. Mike has a B.S. in Exercise Physiology from Illinois State University. He is the 2010 Illinois United Powerlifting Association champion, and in April 2011 broke 2 National Records in the 242lb UPA Drug-free division.

Mike has 15 years experience in coaching youth sports and knows what it takes to give your child the edge to excel. His years as a coach and mentor translate to a better experience for your child and instant results in the field of play. Mastering the skills and drills for sports translates to more confidence in all phases of a child's life.

Mike knows what coaches expect from their players. Help your child EXCEED their expectations. He has the experience and desire to train youth to excel at their chosen sport. Let his years of experience accelerate your child's mastery of techniques and training. POWER Camp is designed for youth thru high school. Mike has designed programs to enhance speed and maximize strength to create a more POWERFUL athlete.
